Can Tyze track a Mac work session without starting a timer?
Yes. Connect the Mac apps and supported websites that belong to a goal. When that matching activity forms a qualifying block, Tyze can return a suggested session for review without requiring a timer start first.
Does every app I open become a session?
No. Tyze looks for the goal signals you deliberately connected, excludes idle time, and uses session boundaries around sustained matching work. The first result remains yours to review.
When does automatic logging turn on?
Tyze can suggest a recognized work block first. After the result feels reliable, you can choose to trust future matching work for that goal. Automatic logging is not assumed for every goal.
What happens if I switch to another Tyze goal?
A switch to another clearly recognized goal can create a handoff. It does not have to be treated as unrelated distraction inside the first goal.
Does Tyze upload my raw Mac activity history?
No. Raw foreground app context, website paths, and the local activity timeline stay on your Mac. Confirmed aggregate session results can sync to your Tyze account.
